OK, so you are a designer and have something to sell and you want to know what its going to cost you, what you will be required to do and what you will get back in return.
First off it wont cost you anything extra apart from the low commission rate to sell here, so no extra server fees, storage fees or rubbish like that, we dont even charge you a paypal fee as I can't see how that is fair, I mean you sell a product along with other designers items at the same time and all the designers pay the paypal fee but the store owner only gets charged it once per checkout ?
Right, so now that bit is sorted what would your commitments be ?
Very few actually, we do expect you to upload your products and add the listing and set the prices, we don't expect our store name on your previews but you can't leave preview images from other shops on without removing their name, (not that we are too worried about advertising them but the original shop may not be happy !!). We can supply you a logo to cover an exisitng store logo if needed.
We have no forums or galleries or other such bloat that you have to spend your time in, and we don't have any collabs so no time wasted there. Guess what else? We don't even have a minimum item per month, yes you can sell just one thing again freeing your time up to better things, like designing new kits.
You will have to sign, scan and return a disclaimer saying you take full responsibility for the products you selling stating that they are your interlectual property and that you are able to freely sell said items, this will idemnify us from any claims regarding breaches of your contract elsewhere or for copyright infringment, on that note we can't sell other stores exclusive products for obvious legal reasons.
We dont guarentee you sales, and are freely able to see the sales reports, but we do ask that you stay with us for a minimum of 3 months, considering there are no minimum commitments or any charges, what have you got to loose.
We would also ask that you push the site as much as you can on your blogs, forums and word of mouth, but please do not spam. The reason we ask this is we get next to nothing to run this site so that we can keep the prices low and still give you maximum profit, unfortunatley that leaves nothing for us to advertise with. Hopefully the quality and price will do the rest for us ;)
What do you get back in return? Well we charge 15% of the sale price. This commision covers our server fees , paypal fees plus our time.
To sum up, no real commitment, no extra charges, maximum profit and you get to sell all the old kits that sit on your drive doing nothing?
